A Tardoz é uma pequena oficina em Lisboa, ligada à
azulejaria portuguesa e à cerâmica de autor.
Aqui na oficina fazemos réplicas tradicionais de
azulejos; produzimos as nossas chacotas à mão, com vários tamanhos e espessuras e criamos colecções próprias para decoração de
interiores e exteriores, em colaboração com arquitectos e designers. Aqui na oficina sabemos que o azulejo é um dos
elementos identitários de Portugal e agrada-nos acreditar que estamos a
contribuir para a sua preservação e continuidade.
A Tardoz é uma pequena oficina onde se trabalha por
encomenda, de forma controlada e em quantidades limitadas - aqui na oficina o
trabalho é todo feito manualmente e cada peça é única. Aqui na oficina mexe-se com o barro e com a arte do
fogo e estamos habituados a lidar com palavras como óxidos, feldspato ou
manganês. Aqui na oficina há espaço para a criatividade;
modela-se, constrói-se e respeita-se o ritmo próprio dos materiais - aqui o
tempo demora tempo a passar.
A Tardoz é uma pequena oficina de trabalho – feita por nós e por
todos os que cá vêm.

Tardoz is a small workshop based in Lisbon, focused on the
art of portuguese ceramic tiles - azulejos - and ceramic art.
At the workshop we manufacture traditional ceramic
tiles replicas, we produce our own handmade tiles bisque, with various sizes and
thickness and also develop contemporary ceramic tiles collections for home and
outside decoration, in collaboration with architects and designers. At the workshop we know that the azulejo is a key
element for portuguese identity and we are thrilled to contribute to its
preservation and continuity.
Tardoz is a small workshop that works by order, in a
controlled way with limited quantities. At the workshop, the work is all hand
made and each unit is a unique piece of art.
At the workshop
we deal with clay and the art of fire and we are familiar with words like
metallic oxides, feldspar or manganese. At the workshop
there’s space for creativity: we shape and build respecting the materials’ own
pace - here, Time takes its own time.
Tardoz is a small workshop – everyone who drops by
